I'm only submitting this because I have been quiet for almost a month. I'll try to write something better at some point.

The suggester of because rain is meant for lonely people by ~ItsxMagik notes, "The opening line reached out and grabbed me, but it's her use of the storm metaphor that I found especially touching - the destruction left in his wake even as she still longs for him - and the juxtaposition of that magnificent storm to her directionless raindrop, all written with beautiful descriptiveness."
